The Baldwin Gentlemen // A private members cub for gay men of color //Your Bold, Brave Friend

The Baldwin Gentlemen is partnering with BEAM to celebrate the life and work of the legendary activist, writer, and feminist Joseph Beam. Beam is credited with editing the first known anthology of Black gay men's writings in the United States. Today, his work continues to inspire and promote the resilence of gay men of color. The celebratory evening will include a wine reception, readings of his work, and dialogue about the importance of carrying on a legacy of art and resistance. 

Join us on Thursday, 14 December at 7p at The Hudson Theatre as we celebreate the life and legacy of Joseph Beam! Special guests include Darryl Stephens, Nathan Hale Williams, Parnell Damone Marcano, Thomas Davis, and Yolo Akili Robinson as well as Baldwin's very own Grant Emerson Harvey and Anthony.Emeka.
